Reading Assignment 5

When Pip arrives in London he expects it to look beautiful but it is the total opposite. The roads are disgusting and its very ugly. People who break that laws are being punished right on the streets in front of everyone. Pip decides to take rowing lessons, because they need a way to get Provis out of England. He practices everyday on the river by Herbert's house, so they can get Provis out without any suspicion. Pip feels a little awkward when he goes to Wemmick's house. He notices that Wemmick acts different at his house than he does at the office on business. He doesnt joke around and takes everything serious at the office, but at home he is more laid back.
